2 Day International Workshop on XBRL

The Department of Management Studies at Velammal College of Engineering andTechnology, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, in collaboration with Capital Market Services(CAPMAS) in Singapore and Melbourne, and Venus Corporate Connections Pvt. Ltd.,Singapore, successfully hosted a two-day International Workshop on XBRL (Hands-onTraining Program) in a hybrid format on November 5 and 6, 2024.The event commenced with an inaugural session on November 5, 2024. Dr V.Selvalakshmi, Professor and Head of Management Studies at VCET, extended the welcomeaddress, followed by an inaugural address by Dr. P. Alli, Principal of VCET, and afelicitation from Dr. C. Selvaraj, Advisor to the MBA Program at VCET. The curtain raisingsession was led by Mr. S. Sivakumar, CEO of Capital Market Services, Singapore, andkeynotes were addressed by Ms M. Kunasunderi, Senior Chartered Accountant and CEO ofVenus Corporate Connections Pvt. Ltd., Singapore. Dr. G. Venkateshwaran, AssistantProfessor of MBA at VCET, concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
